IJ- people do care- but how do you stop it? Especially when it is so easy to get guns (heaven forbid the NRA should make it more difficult), and our culture seems to make violence look so easy too. A psychologist once told me that video games and movies give violence an air of unreality. Some of the kids really think all they have to do is hit the rest button. the fantasy and the reality have fused.
I don’t see in the article who is suing….only charge that a ‘republican operative’….
And from article I don’t even see what suing about…I can only infer suing for information to see how two orgs. might have some ties.
I don’t follow WFP – but what is big deal if people form 3rd parties. If don’t agree with their candidates or platform don’t vote for them.
That poor kid – what a tragedy. Teens killing teens, no one does a damn thing to stop it. No one seems to care.
Pete;
One more thing…
If you read the Post article, you will note that the politician who is suing them is a Democrat.

for a look at the other side of the issue. Most interesting is the section on the 2008 election, pete.
Pete;
Well, if this case is nothing more than right-wing bile, then the WFP should have nothing to fear from a little light thrown on it, shouldn’t it?? We shall see…..
😉
I rest my case.
The WFP is nothing more than a shell organization designed to allow the civil-service unions to circumvent NYC campaign finance laws, i.e. shovel more money to their preferred candidates.
Working Families Party shares an office with ACORN in Brooklyn.
ACORN has been exposed for widespread voter fraud throughout the United States.
Do you think the people sharing the same office might be sharing information and tactics and ideological perspectives as far as voter registration is concerned?
These outfits will continue to be exposed for undermining the legitimate voter process, it’s as simple as that.
As a nation we should have ZERO tolerance for these type of third world tactics.
And before you call me a reactionary, I would say the same if the conservative or republican party were up to these sorts of tricks.
