I would start my own web site about Brooklyn but I don’t know how. Instead, I try to gain fame and fortune by posting here all day. I am a leech! Let me suck on you.
Being laughed at by the joker.
I think the second crime listed in the “Marauding Teens Back At It in Fort Greene” round-up post is the more significant one.
Expert Textpert, where has smoking choker been?
War, war, war. This war talk is spoiling the fun at every party this spring. I get so bored I could scream.
So, I’ve long wondered something…
The spraypainted box with an X in it, I have gradually come to assume, means the structure is vacant and condemned/unsafe/”if you’re a firefighter, don’t try to go inside,” while a spraypainted box with a single diagonal slash through it just means it’s empty. Any official confirmation/denial of this theory?
“Don’t mention the war”
I think we should discuss the war at the next big gathering of Brownstoner fans, which will be tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17 at Rope, Inc. on the edge of Clinton Hill / Fort Greene at 415 Myrtle Avenue (between Vanderbilt Ave & Clinton Ave).
We will start around 6pm, but please feel free to drop in whenever you can. We plan on being there for at least a few hours.
Here are the directions and reviews:

That building lost the war.
What…would you be against some Asshat moving in and fixing it up???
