I’m not psychologist but if I had to profile the what- he would be a late 30’s white male, with spotty employment and a violent obsession with homosexuality.
Its really psychology not so much location… someone says this plot is better than this plot of land and we go for it… the dirt is all the same… But someone just told me that my dirt is better or worse lol…
7andfive–I don’t think it was a magic carpet he envisioned carrying the Brownstoners away. There was always a threat of violence, either implied or directly threatened, by some imaginary vigilante frequently homophobic force that would make us all pay for wanting to own a home.

7andfive, that would be a rational, civilized and more humane way of making a prediction and discussing the economic environment. The problem is one cannot easily discern what exactly he was predicting with his over-the-top posts of doom and gloom that would turn into a rant about the asshats having objects shoved up their orifices.
You know 1/2 mile north of 95th and 5th (or Madison or Park) you can get a better deal and larger more beautiful home.
Since the What can’t post. I don’t think he meant that literally all the folks in Brownstone Brooklyn would ride away on a magic carpet on Oct. 16th.
I think he meant that people in Brownstone Brooklyn would feel some serious economic pain.
