Domino Landmark Hearing
Today at 9:45 a.m., the Landmarks Commission holds the first public hearing for the designation of the Domino Sugar Processing House. LPC staff will make a presentation to the Commission regarding the results of their research on the site. Members of the public will be allowed to testify, after which the Commissioners will probably make comments regarding the designation. The Landmarks Commission is located at 1 Centre Street, 9th Floor North in the Municipal Building. Bring a valid ID and leave sharp objects at home.

BARC Shelter Art Auction
Support the BARC Shelter by checking out their art auction tonight from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Each year, local artists donate their works for display and sale at the annual show. The evening reception includes wine and h’ors doeuvres at the shelter’s space on North 1st Street. Tickets for the reception are $25. Call (718) 486-7489 for more information.
