There were a lot of reasons to be pleased about the Brooklyn Flea’s opening day underneath the Brooklyn Bridge last Sunday (a great turn-out and a compliant Mother Nature both jump to mind), but the biggest warm-and-fuzzy one is that, with the hard work of the team at Time Out NY, we were able to raise $3,000 for the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club, a pillar of the Downtown Brooklyn community. The last we heard the money was going to go directly towards enhancing the organization’s cultural programs. A number of designers and vendors contributed items to the sale; for a complete list, see here.

  1. No. Perhpas I should have put in ROTFLMA, LOL, Some day this war is going to end, I can smell napalm, etc etc or any more of his usual drivel for a more convincing impression of the what.

But then again if you want a fight I’m up for it

  2. Dear Mr B.

I suppose I’d better shut up with my inane baseless rants about you doing nothing for the community, especially when I do jack except complain, curse and type seven exclamation points in each sentence like 6 yr old.
