No that is definitely the Navy Yard. The building on the left is building 5, the building on the right is building 3 and the building in the background is building 77. The photographer is standing on the corner of seventh Ave and Farragut Street (in the Navy Yard) and facing east towards Eigth Ave. Trust me on this.
It looks like the picture was taken from inside a manhole. It is a gopher’s eye view.
bonus round question: where was the Sunset Park (or is that Greenwood Heights?) photo taken from?
72 Poplar is great news for BH. It’s a really nice, solid old building with great potential.
Bingo!
I say it’s the Brooklyn Terminal.
That’s what the photographer had it listed as, but maybe it’s the Brooklyn Terminal in Sunset Park?
I don’t recognize those buildings. Are you sure it’s the Navy Yard?
Appreciate all the comments in the last few days but the self-promotion of your site is starting to verge on spam…
the WWIB Action News team has also posted a DiFara’s update; the people have spoken but what will the love & hostility bring? is Dom really mulling over an independent run for the Presidency too?
