  1. CGar- NY state does not have “no contest” divorces, thus you have to provide “grounds” for divorce, like cheating or something like that.

    Since when do you require “grounds” for divorce?

  3. I don’t know what the solution is to the taxi/livery issue outside of Manhattan, but the fact is that breaking the rules is a normal course of practice for many people tells me that some change is needed.

    It does not say anything to the effect of “Use Only In Case of Emergency” or any other prohibitting language that might indicate a fine was possible.

    People in Manhattan use these as normal course of business.

  5. I think SSCJ&L needs to start filing citizen-taxpayer lawsuits challenging the legality of the arbitrary and capricious enforcement of laws like this.
