I just wish they stop that ear-splitting noise on the alarms – its just too much first thing in the morning.
Its not like it is of any use – there are no ticket agents around to be aware of it at most stations.
Finally NY gets no fault divorce!
I missed that being passed into law, I thought I still had to catch my missus with the window washer.
Agreed DIBS and Denton, but use the emergency exit and you could be dealing with more than a ticket. You could end up like this guy. As he says, “is this what our city is coming to?”
Supposedly, the MTA is complaining that overuse of the emergency exits is causing the alarms to malfunction and stop working.

ok i stand corrected, but in this case does the old law apply?
Bikes and strollers do use them…they have to, which negates the whole issue.
Should someone get a ticket to using an emergency exit – no but it can be annoying. What happens to people with bike and strollers who really need to?
Actually, in 2010 NY finally got “no fault” divorces; until last year it was one of only a few states that didn’t have that option. So, yes, you had to provide “grounds” and judges had to evaluate whether they were sufficient.
