Actually, you’re not all that far off, DIBS. But I’m pretty sure “Cobble Hill” has only really been in use since the 60s or so, and was created by real estate brokers based on some old mention somewhere. Before that it was all Red Hook or South Brooklyn. But whatever. It’s a damn sight better than BoCoCa which is just a TriBeCa or SoHo wanna be.

  2. “That’s only because cobble refuses to tell people where it is, and Pete tears down all the posters.”

    Cobble Hill is a neighborhood.

BoCoCa is a fake pretentious bullsh*t name created by marketing people. I refuse to acknowledge it as legitimate.

  3. “The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute ranked the Bronx as the worst of all of New York’s 62 counties across a variety of health indicators, like mortality rate, tobacco use, unsafe sex, diet, exercise and access to health care. Brooklyn came in at the bottom as well with a ranking of 58.”

Where did Kings County come in????
