“I bet there are no “Biffs” in Queens, or the Bronx for that matter. There are certainly no Bay Ridge Girls and no Cobblehillers.”
DIBS, for all we know, there may be a baysidegirl posting with collegepointer on some Queen’s real estate blog!
Also, there’s a very small landmarked area in LIC with brownstones–really nice. And they’ve gotten very expensive over the years.
actually as someone who was born in Queens I will weigh in..
There are many nice neighborhoods in queens that aren’t cheesy!
Jackson Heights,Forest Hills, Jamaica Estates, parts of Whitestone(Malba) parts of North Flushing where there are still 100 + old victorian type homes.
Jackson Hts still is the BEST place to find Indian food

Are there ANY brownstones in Queens?? I do notice a lot more green front yards in Queens. They’re mostly some form of cheap “astroturf,” but that’s always nice.
“Other boroughs may be happier, but do they have Brownstoner???”
No, maybe that’s why they’re happier! 😉

Thanks Biff! I try to pop-in before I get caught up in my day’s work. Posting in the morning is fastly becoming as routine as my bagel and coffee.
See you all in a few hours . . .
YngRntr, I always enjoy your posts. You seem like a very cool person.
