Wonder if they’d ever consider adding a subway tunnel attached to the battery tunnel with underground stops on Governor’s Island and Red Hook and then sliding into proposed Gowanus Expwy tunnel plan.
Eh, might be a wee bit controversial, but on the other hand, it might solve some degree of transportation issues for Governo’s Island, Red Hook and Sunset Park, and also fit in well if there is to be a Big Dig for Gowanus.
Who knows.
