Today, Thursday, August 9, the Brooklyn Arts Council hosts an application seminar for its Community Arts Regrant Program. The Regrant Program funds Brooklyn-based nonprofit organizations in the area of crafts, dance, film and video, folk arts, literature/writing, music, opera, photography, multi disciplinary arts, theater and visual arts. Movies with a View
Tonight, Movies with a View presents the 1950 film All About Eve, directed by Joseph L. Mankiewicz and starring Bette Davis and Anne Baxter. Rebecca Kaplan’s short film When Satire Goes Bad will be shown before the main feature. Thursday, 6:00 p.m. Film starts at sundown. Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park section of the Brooklyn Bridge Park.
