Gowanus Dredgers Bacchanal 2007
Tonight, September 20, join the Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club for an evening of family fun, food and music on the Gowanus Canal. Enjoy live music from Hank Plank & the 2x4s and Copper Kettle. The annual party also features canoe tours, raffle prizes and an all-you-can-eat barbeque provided by Schnack. Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. $40, $25 in advance. DUMBO Fight Night
Tonight, the Dumbo Improvement District hosts its inaugural fundraiser, DUMBO Fight Night: the Fight to Preserve DUMBO. Festivities include live music and dancing from local creative groups, a silent auction, free food and beverages provided by Rice, and gallery space curated by Smack Mellon, as well as boxing by Gleason’s Gym. Tonight, the Society for Clinton Hill holds its general meeting for the month of September. “Vendors of Newkirk” Reception
