The first five stories of a Gene Kaufman-designed 13-story hotel have risen on the corner of Nevins and Schermerhorn streets in Downtown Brooklyn. The latest new building permits say the building at 46 Nevins will have 12 stories and 182 units but, confusingly, the accompanying Schedule A filings show 13 stories and 202 units.
The hotel will include a ground floor restaurant, meeting rooms and fitness rooms. CBCS and Barone Management are partnering to develop the project, which isn’t yet branded. We’ve included the rendering, which is fairly unexciting, after the jump.
