Another retailer is going to contribute to the changing nature of the Fulton Mall, with the Gap signing on to take space at 400 Fulton Street. Joe Chan, president of the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, announced the news at yesterday’s Brooklyn Real Estate Summit, according to the Eagle. Other changes in the works for the thoroughfare include the future openings of a Shake Shack, H&M, and Filene’s Basement. A commercial broker who attended yesterday’s meeting told us that there’s a possibility that the Gap will be an outlet. The space in question is currently occupied by a clothing store called S&D Underground.
