StreetLevel: Papa John's Comes to Northern 4th Ave.
A Papa John’s has opened on 4th Avenue between Baltic and Butler, no doubt gearing up to deliver pies to the thousands of people who are going to live in the strip’s many new buildings. Think the gooey dipping sauce will be popular in these parts? GMAP

PJ Pizza for the PJs
paving the way for gentrification?
you sound fun, 5:37.
your pleasant personality comes out even on this sometimes hateful blog.
agree with some others — wouldn’t eat Dominoes even if paid to do so. i do however eat at Papa John’s regularly (the one on Livingston delivers to me). i think Papa John’s is yummy as hell, but i don’t eat meat so i can’t vouch for anything meaty they produce.
if it gives you a sense of whether you can rely on my P.J. recommendation, my other pizza tastes are: i will happily eat a Pizza Hut personal pan pizza if i’m in an airport (or starving at Target/Atlantic Center). as for local shops, i like the slices from My Little Pizzeria on Court (near Atlantic) and Antonio’s on Flatbush (near the Q train) for slices and pies.
There is also a McDonald’s on 4th Avenue. And a Staples. It’s not like chains are anything new along that stretch.
Big fucking deal. KFC is 2 blocks away on 4th. and 6 blocks away is CHUCK E Cheese. And Victoria Secrets. I like to take my skinny girlfriend to KFC and then to Victoria for some sexy underthings. I LOVE BROOKLYN, It is just like Indiana. Yeehaw.
i hope they are planning to install new pull downs.
little things like that will go a long way to beautify 4th avenue.
i’d order a gallon of the garlic sauce, if i could.
Disgusting who in there right mind would order that.
