stores
With the apparent demise of Liquors and an implied lack of demand for shoe repairs in Fort Greene, there are now two adjacent stores for rent on prime Dekalb Avenue between Adelphi and Clermont in Fort Greene. Does the placement of the stairwells mean these couldn’t be combined into one larger space? Perhaps the buildings could be opened up in the rear. GMAP

  1. I asked Candle owners (Vegan restaurant) to open in Fort Greene. They said, “Is that in Brooklyn?”

So I doubt they’re heading here any time soon.

Maybe GAry Null could open another health store. THe one he has on the upper west side is great (if overpriced).

  2. Yes, please, someone open a decent market in Ft. Greene/ Clinton Hill. Shopping at L’Epicerie just keeps getting weirder and weirder. The signs out front have multiplied-no cell phones, no buying too much bread, no tying one’s dog to the pole out front. . .now, it seems, they’re trying to get rid of their cat? Poor kitty.
