Above: A visual aid to the impending move of Stinky Bklyn, the popular cheese shop that opened at 261 Smith Street back in 2006. If you’re a local who’s come to rely on Stinky for your cheese fix, fear not: The shop isn’t going very far. It’s moving all of two blocks to the former Big Apple Smith grocery space at 215 Smith Street, between Butler and Baltic. Here’s what the tipster who sent these photos in had to say: “The new location looks much larger. I saw workmen in there today carrying in sheets of plywood but it appears that they have just finished gutting the old market and have barely started the renovation. The back area of this store has a big skylight in it. It could be a very nice set-up for Stinky.”
> i actually LIKE good cheeses!
Oh. My. God. Rob confesses to actually liking something.
My whole worldview has been torn asunder.
DIBS, what do you think of Rob’s logic here….or lack thereof?
Pete, I thought you were against things being posted in windows and telephone poles.

Yes they are; same folks have two other shops on Smith. Think this will be Stinky’s third location in 5-6 years. At any rate, sure they will continue to do well.
um shut up, i actually LIKE good cheeses! you can’t fake good cheese like you can fake ice cream and coffee!
*rob*
that’s funny, randolph… rob’s all “Velveeta is all I need and if one buys any of these fancy-pants cheeses then they are a loser.”
sorry rob, you’re an easy target with your archie bunker-esque rants.
