A reader tipped us off that the NYPD had set up one of their Skywatch contraptions on Myrtle Avenue at Carlton Avenue yesterday so we swung by this morning to check it out. According to the cops on location, there are now more than 30 of these things in rotation and this one is expected to be there for a couple of weeks. Maybe they should have parked it at Clinton and Greene though: We hear there was a drive-by shooting there last night.
Yes, there was a drive-by last night on Clinton and Greene. I live on the block. It happened around 9 pm I think. My husband said there was blood on the sidewalk when he went to work this morning.
All this 2 blocks from the biggest sale in Brooklyn a month ago…hmmm.
Meanwhile Park Ave under the BQE is now filled with traffic cameras. walk around down there any night and you’ll see flash bulbs popping constantly.

There’s a lot going on between the projects and the corner of Clinton and Greene! I think it’s really a stretch to call that corner scary. Mr. B, what have you heard?
