Signage is up for Rocco’s Tacos and Tequila Bar at the old Morton’s Steakhouse in Downtown Brooklyn. The Downtown Brooklyn Partnership interviewed the owner last month and got all the details. The Florida-based chain will serve over 300 varieties of tequila and an extensive menu of  Mexican dishes. They have an 6,000-square-foot dining room and an extra 8,000-square-feet of private party space at the 339 Adams Street location. This’ll be one of the few places to grab Mexican food in the area, but you’ll have to be patient — it’s not slated to open until the winter of 2014.
