Quote of the Day
I’m not sure about Park Place, but the inventory of any new condos or conversions in the North Slope is dwindling, it seems. There are only 4 units left in the Vermeil, just a couple in Park Place, a few in that Lincoln Place former brothel and not much else that I can think of….

Kinda slim pickings unless you want to go down to 4th Avenue area…For someone not interested in a full brownstone, there’s really not much to pick from in terms of inventory in North Slope. Maybe that’s why prices are holding up there relatively speaking.

Whip out the champagne! North slope is the new West Village! Hahhahaha funny stuff
attention shoppers
you have little time to snap up those deals of a lifetime
hurry, don’t hesitate, do it now
inventory is non-existant
PRETTY SOON THERE WILL BE NO PLACE TO LIVE AT ANY PRICE
11217,
StreetEasy isn’t infallible, I guess. Wife and I had looked at the apartment, but passed on it at the time. Kept tabs on it though. They did have a deal, but guess it fell through.

What do you mean, “back on the market?”
Streeteasy history never shows it going to contract…
Just came back on the market:

Yes, you are right about that I think SWY.
Since I live nearby, I heard about it all from my neighbors and posted the information on this website when they were being sold by the daughter of the man who passed away. I was hoping someone could jump on it.
One guy bought all three I believe and he’s spending a few hundred thousand on each in renovations, but even then, they are still tremendous deals.
He’s redone one of them already and it looks great. I believe he’s planning to refurbish the exterior when the weather warms up.
If I had the money, I would have bought one in a second.
Those brownstones on Berkeley that you are referring to were all multi-family buildings(2 of 3 were rooming houses I believe) I dont know how the buyer found them but they would have had to been all cash deals, making the buyer pool much smaller to begin with
