Security cameras were just installed at the Putnam Triangle in Clinton Hill, making good on a promise from last month’s community meeting about the proposed Putnam Pedestrian Plaza. While the pedestrian plaza has yet to be confirmed, a tea bar is coming to the triangle soon, and an affordable housing developer recently purchased a nearby lot, so change is definitely in the air here.

  1. Why would anyone not want the neighborhood beautified and more pedestrian friendly? It seems that some of the more entrenched residents fear the gentrification of the neighborhood more than anything else.

    Talk to the, many, former residents of the Southside of WillyB, or most of Bushwick, about how successful they’ve been in stopping the white hordes…As Zeppelin once said “Your time is gonna come”
