Snow or not, Brooklynite and landscape historian Kate Papacosma will lead an afternoon ramble through the Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux masterpiece for the Municipal Art Society. Winter is a perfect time for unobstructed views of the picturesque hills and vales and the sculptural beauty of the trees. The 90 minute walk will delve into the design details behind the park and its changing character over time.
The tour takes place on Saturday, February 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. Tour tickets are $30 for non-members of MAS, and $20 for members. For more info or to register, visit the tour page here.
