After a pandemic hiatus, the Prospect Park Alliance is bringing back its annual giant outdoor dinner party to celebrate Brooklyn’s backyard.

Attendees to the Prospect Park Soiree usually come decked out in festive attire and loaded down with all the makings for an impressive tablescape. Tables and chairs are provided, but attendees bring everything else, and part of the allure of the event is wandering among the tables to take a gander at the elaborate settings.

The event usually draws thousands of partygoers to the Peninsula for an evening of food, music and dancing. Ticket sales have already launched, and this year all guests must show proof of vaccination.

The festivities take place on Saturday, June 25 and the gates will open at 5 p.m. so attendees can pick a table and set up. The event is limited to those aged 21 and over. Early-bird individual tickets are $50 per guest through May 1 and then go up to $55. A limited number of party packs of 10 tickets will be available and include two complimentary bottles of wine.

All proceeds benefit the Prospect Park Alliance in their efforts to keep the park looking beautiful. To buy tickets or to learn more about this year’s Soiree, visit the event page online.
