money = garbage. ones worth is not tied to their bank account.

Yet you pray that you’ll find a rich bf/gf/whatever that can support you or expect people to hand you things that are…newsflash…WORTH MONEY. Don’t say you ever walked away when someone offered you a free gift or a free drink at a bar. Guess what, that person paid for it. That person didn’t get this money by just bitching and posting on the internet. They most likely earned it, or their daddies earned it (who cares).

Just admit it, you are just angry that you weren’t blessed with rich mommy and daddy to hand you stuff. You just rather sit and bitch with hopes that things will change and someone rich will adopt you. Guess what, it’ll never happen.

  2. I actually feel like *rob* would totally get the elasticity of demand on the first run through. Of course, he would immediately misapply his new found knowledge and become an Econ bully.

I vote for leaving him to his own ignorance; tremendous bliss to be found there. And when I say bliss, in his case I mean misery. Some folks actually seem to prefer it over happiness and contentment.

There’s a win-win, *rob*. You leave me and my discretionary income alone, and I won’t make any effort to try to get you to the see the sunny side of life.

  3. quote:
I’ll go back to work and earn a nice little bonus so I can go treat myself to organic tomatoes and some nice yuppy ice cream while you sit here posting and bitching all day and then collect change out of your socks to scape up for a vinegar sandwich.

okay, that was just mean. but, really, newsflash: some people have different values in life. money = garbage. ones worth is not tied to their bank account.
