“Never got into watching hockey. Can never see the puck on TV.”
Remember when Fox did that crazy experiment by putting the streaky coloured lines showing the movement of the puck so the viewers could pick it up more easily?
etson, a true hockey fan watching the game on TV realized long ago you can rarely see the puck actually going into the net. You watch for other clues…sticks raised, the red light going on, the fan reactions, the goalie breaking his stick over the crossbar, the defenseman giving a post-goal cheap shot to the goal scorer, etc.
Biffy, sorry, was taking a friend this time. I’ll have a ticket with your name on it one of these days. I usually get them the same day (when the president of my company can’t make it to his fancy shmancy seats) so I literally got a hold of them around 4 p.m. I called a friend whose life is Rangers but if he ever can’t make it, I’ll hit you up.
DeLepp, Gaborik looks good on ice indeed. I mean Crosby is Crosby so at least they didn’t embarrass themselves like the did a couple of days before at Pittsburgh.
Kens, no probs…was just busting your chops. Would love to go if you ever need to fill a seat.

Which section were you in? Did you see almost a fight break out in the stands around 300 section at the end of the game? I was in SEC 60.
“I stick to my prediction that Brooklyn brownstone prices are bottoming here as we speak.”
And if anyone knows about bottoming, it’s DIBS.
🙂

DeLepp, I bet you would be a very rich man today if you got $1 for every “OMG” and “like” that you heard during the game.
