“went christmas shopping for some boyfriends.” dave how many boyfriends do you have? youre coming across as pretty greedy. just the other day you were bragging about having over THREE houses now youre claiming multiple boyfriends. a house hog and a man hog.
11233 – I was there on Saturday, during the day, walking around. (I’ll go back at night this week). The displays seem tame compared to a couple of years ago. Of course the usual suspects on 84th between 11th & 12th still have their displays. My favorite, in a very tacky way, is the one on the south side of the street with every plastic nutcracker going up the stairs, and the seat for Santa. I actually think they added more of a menagerie this year.
Make sure you go around the corner to 12th Avenue and 83rd Street, there’s a house with every imaginable platic seasonal blow-up in their front yard. I couldn’t stop taking pictures.
Also, if you’re driving, head down to 80th and Colional in Bay Ridge, there’s a corner house that’s blitzed out in christmas craziness, bring your sunglasses for this one.
