Kansas City is actually pretty solidly Democratic. Not in the same way as NYC, which is further to the left, but it does show up blue in national elections.
dibs – Yes, I have fish & NO!, don’t feed them! It’s dangerous to feed fish in water under 55 degrees – they can explode. Also the books warn against yo-yo diet: on-again, off-again feeding. Mine do seem to eat algae from the pond walls w/ no ill effect but I guess that’s low impact.
Arkady, do you have fish in a pond in your yard??? We have some here in Phily. I’m wondering since the weather has warmed up a bit, whether we should feed them, which we ordinarily don’t in the winter as hey “hibernate” a the bottom but now they are swimming around
