I was surprised to find their steak tartare so good. it rivals Les Halles’. I had steak tartare in a old time bistro in San francisco last year and I was surprised when they bought the raw egg on the side. Seems Californians are afraid of raw eggs.

[We’re probably not moving, but I want to consider our options. And yes, we’re fully and painfully aware of what [tangible and not so tangible] we’d be giving up to live just about anywhere else.]
