  1. I’m one of those ridiculously honest fools. One day I was in Target and bought a bunch of stuff. When I got home and was going over my receipt, I realized they failed to charge me for a .99 pack of bandaids. The next day I went back and bought a few more things and picked up another pack of the bandaids. I told the cashier to charge me for them, but not to put them in my shopping bag. I explained to her what happened the day before and that I just wanted to pay for them seeing how I already had them. She was confused and called over her manager saying, “I don’t know if I can do that.” I had to explain the story to the manager and she said, “Ok, thanks for being honest.” As I walked away, the cashier was saying to the manager, “WTF??” and the manager goes, “Some people are just honest like that.” Is honesty these days so rare that it shocks folks???

  2. Dave as a person with a accounting background I can tell you a tax return can be manipulated in so many ways it is not funny… As a young man a person told me the way to get rich was know the tax code, buy and pay off your house and invest early… I guess he was right about everything except purchasing a house and paying it off.. Houses are going down.. Just kidding the house I own has been a great investment know matter what.. But I purchased a couple of years before the market upturn…

  3. HOBOKEN…they own 13.5 Billion shares of China Construction…at the current price of HK$ 4.75…that’s US$8.27 Billion…about 25% of the $34 B that they “need.” When people make assumptions without doing their homework it creates opportunities for those of us who do.
