  1. re: the Sycamore conversation.
I’ve been there twice now and I am a fan. First time with the chicken family on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Second time I got trashed after a walk in Prospect Park.
I was the least hipsterish person there (at least on the Sat) but it’s a friendly place, and the bartenders are really cool.

  2. Snappy, as a lawyer maybe you know the answer to this. I thought of it after reading Rob’s last few posts.

If someone posts on an anonymous blog that for years they’ve not paid income taxes, can the IRS go after them?

  3. quote:

What kind of “art” is it exactly. Lost dog fliers aren’t art.

it’s a stretched canvas with neon spray paint and a wooden carved silver glittery star glued to it that says leviticus. i think ive seen that name around before on other stuff! i like it. im going to hang it in my apt.

  4. BC: wonderful! Rome may replace Paris as my favorite city. He had a good time too (I think, he’s quite taciturn) He ate pizza, lasagna and gelato all day.

After hearing all the stuff about Rome traffic, I found it much less threatening than 4th Ave or Flatbush here. As in France, vehicles (except for scooters) are VERY respectful of peds, even my son would just steadily cross the street with no qualms. Makes me laugh when I think of all the heartaches we endure here.

Good museums: Modern Art was fabulous, and smaller ones fun (including a 3-room one (free) devoted entirely to depictions of the Rape of the Sabines, which I told my son was “abduction”, him not being able to translate “ratto’.)

otherwise, we just walked a ot between espresso and gelato breaks.
