DH and rob…those kind of stores were all the rage during the Japanese bubble years. We’re already seeing a lot of restaurants close and these won’t be far behind.
This flu thing is going to push some hotels and maybe the airlines closer to bankruptcy. The airlines seemed to get their businesses in order and then this pops up and they are cancelling a lot of flights now. It’s VERY serious.
oooooooooh thanks bxgirl! 🙂 i will check that out! everyone says to go to beacon’s closet but i went there once and wound up with a stupid sweater that just well looked stupid. i dont like stores like that anyway that raid the real thrift stores like goodwill and salvation army and then jackup the prices and sell with a snooty ‘tude. (tho i didnt get a snooty tude from beacon’s closet, but almost every other “thrift” and i use that term lightly store ive been to i have gotten that.) plus the money goes to good causes when you buy from salvation army and goodwill instead of going up some 25 year old girl’s nose if you know what i mean.
rob- there’s a big Salvation Army on Atlantic Ave., close to 3rd. Try there.. I haven’t gone in but it looks interesting from the window whenever I pass by.
BRG, that is the best excuse I have ever heard for not washing a car

Thanks Kens…but I’d rather a place in the direction of Downtown; as I’m heading down in that direction later this evening and can do it along the way.
Anyone else know of a place…..maybe a gas station with a vacuum?
