jessi, you have to let the guy take charge sometimes. It will work out for the better, trust me.
You wanna be impressed so why not let the guy sweat a little and work up the creative date instead of you throwing suggestions. Next time keep your suggestions to yourself and if a few dates with a guy go well, you offer to take HIM on the date and do “your” suggestions. It will be a very sweet gesture and a very cute thing to do.
“We were gonna hit BH, but got too tired from the heat.”
Wait until May 9th and go on the House and Garden Tour. Some of the homeowners have posted little tasteful flyers to mark the locations that will be open to the public. I’m super-excited.

Hey Biff, I almost made it to your neck of the woods on Saturday. My friend and I took a super long walk – we did a walking tour of Carroll Gardens as recommended in Time Out NY mag and then kept winding up and down some streets all over the place. We were gonna hit BH, but got too tired from the heat.
“I think it should be the guys’ tried and tested locations”
Yeah, that wouldn’t have worked because I suggested all of the places we went to and he just organized them into a comprehensive plan…it was really sweet. After I made the suggestions, it would have been difficult for him to just ignore and come up with something on his own.
talk is cheap and let’s cut to the chase – who is asking JB out on a date? He who hesitates ends up complaining to himself. 6 yrs is not around. Ken, my boy, is not spitting it out. DH, think you’re up at bat.
“The U.S. Air Force is conducting an authorized photo shoot in the air space above lower Manhattan. During the shoot, a large airliner escorted by several fighter jets is flying at a low altitude over NYC, including in the vicinity of several of our downtown locations. There is no reason for concern, and the photo shoot will conclude later this morning.”
If you work in the area, make sure you look out your window and say “cheese”!
