I was just sitting in the waiting room of my doctor’s office and picked up a National Geographic with a baby mammoth on the cover. This story is so interesting and the baby, Lyuba, is so cute. Cuter than a lot of cats!!!!!

Speaking of olive trees, the drive between Sevilla and Grenada goes thru the most scenic olive groves because the leaves have a silver glisten to them.
brg, telling everyone to go to Sevilla. It still has a strong ‘spanish’ flavor and the easter festivities last about 2 weeks. Plus the cathedral there is mostly made up of what they stole from the Americas. I’ve crossed the pond countless times to got to spain, sometimes just for a weekend. Not a big fan of Barcelona, too much like new york. Was in San Sebastian on 9/11, had the most peaceful day on the beach and get back to the hotel and was just overwhelmed. When I grow old I want to take my evening walks around the squares and breathe in the fragrance of Spain.
DeLepp, are you telling me to go to Sevilla? I’ve been there.
Hubby and I spent a month in Spain, rented a car and saw most of it. Some of my fondest travel memories are from that trip.
I want to grow old in Southern Spain. I want to be an old lady sweeping my courtyard, the one with the olive tree.
