  1. One of my friends took me to a Dim Sum place in Jackson Heights once. Quite impressive, although I haven’t been to many other dim sum establishments, so my frame of reference is quite small.

  2. DH- I have no experience with Diabetic Cats but my B.Friend had a Pomeranian that was diabetic and he used to hate the shots at first then after a little while he developed a “pad” of scar tissue around the injection site. After that formed he never even felt it. He wouldn’t even realize she’d given him the injection.

It’ll be a learning curve for the both of you I suppose.

Can you post a pic of her??

  3. I usually go to Jing Fong on Elizabeth between Canal and Bayard just because it’s huge and a bit easier to get a spot on nice days. It’s not the best, but most practical. Golden Unicorn on East Broadway (I believe) is also very popular, especially with gweillos for some reason. It’s the only dim sum place I ever saw with descriptions in English of what is on the carts, which is a bit of a turn off to me.

  4. “I think I might like to go. Any hot Chinese soda jerks???

haha. Just go in there expecting only ice-cream. That way, anything extra you should consider a bonus.

  5. “No chicken…never been there. Is it good?

see Biff’s response! Funny thing is that it is 20 seconds walk from a Haagen Daz shop and I rarely see queue’s there while this little chinese shop usually has people lined up out the door.

I like the black sesame, green tea, mint chip, strawberry (which is an “exotic” flavour!) – dang! I like all of them apart from durian (smelly thai fruit).
