April 14 (Bloomberg) — Home prices in the New York City metropolitan area will fall as much as 15 percent as Wall Street firms cut jobs and slash bonuses, according to Kenneth Rosen, an economist at the University of California, Berkeley.

Well lookie here! I thought rents was immune from the Mutant Asset Bubble?

In New York City, apartment prices fell 19 percent in the first quarter from a year earlier to an average $805,000, the Real Estate Board of New York said last week.

Guess what retards? You buddy Brownstoner is skating around this issue because it does not fit into Covert race/class warfare. For this to work you need higher prices to push poor/black people out! How’s that working now?

    The What

Someday this war is gonna end…

  2. I think the dim sum places on Main Street in Flushing are by far the best. I tried one in Brooklyn just off the N Train in Ditmas Park…can’t remember the name of it. It was fine and easily accessible from BH.

  3. Thanks Biff, I’ve been to Jing Fong, agree it’s okay…too big.
Never been to Golden Unicorn and based on you saying it’s popular with the ‘white folk’, I now won’t try it.

I’ve heard really good things about Oriental Garden on Elizabeth. And there’s a veggie dim sum place I heard of, but can’t seem to find; as I don’t eat lots of meat. And I rarely eat meat in restaurants.

  4. Good to hear THL – I’m sure she’ll get used to it. She has been feeling alot better since her blood sugar levels have regulated so maybe she’ll come to grips with the fact that it’s a necessary evil.

I don’t have a pic handy at the moment, but will take one when I return home today!!

  5. I was on the subway this monring and some 20-something, self-absorbed fashion mag editor was BLATHERING on and on and on about how fab her job is and how her present intern isn’t as good as the previous one. She had one of those anoying pseudo-hip voices and was speaking loudly enough so EVERYONE could hear her 5-6 seats away. At one point she complained because the intern used a company credit card to take a cab and didn’t get a receipt. She said, “I thought it was INSTINCTUAL to get a receipt when you use a company card!” I wanted to strangle her. When I left the train I walked beside her and said, “There’s no such word as ‘instinctual’.” She looked at me like I was nuts.
