  1. DIBS, wasn’t trying to start anything over there…I’m enjoying watching fireworks more than setting them off these days. I’ve made the same point many other times about preferring to not be close to Flatbush and preferring to be east of 6th Avenue.

Now go ahead and rewrite, “I’ve made the same point many other times about preferring to not be close to Flatbush”

  2. I like to spar at times with 11201, I know that sometimes my posts may come off as a little snide, but that’s life. I dislike know-it-alls who have not even bought their first property yet. And he did call me old. Which I really am not although I did own a house and had a couple of kids by the time I was his age assuming he’s 32 or so. I’m 53. Not exactly a hundred year difference. Still and all I appreciate the fact that it is much much harder for younger folks to break into real estate these days unless they have a great deal of money. It isn’t fair. If I had been stuck in that situation i would have moved out of the city. I really would have and i think a lot if younger folks who wanted to own a little something did. You gotta do what you gotta do.

  3. I’m just glad to hear that you’re learning the recipes and are willing to carry the torch.

We had the opposite in my family. My grandmother was very weird and wouldn’t give the recipes to my mom. She told her that she wasn’t Armenian so they wouldn’t taste right. Her son wouldn’t like them if she made them.

So my mom just hung over her should marking everything down so the recipes would stay in the family. I can vouch that they do taste just as good and authentic. How crazy is that?
