Re that thing about *underpricing* a house and getting multiple bids over ask: Standard practice in the Bay Area during the boom. What’s hilarious is Barbara Corcoran recommending it. Is it just me or are Corcoran’s list prices usually higher than most?
I cleaned out my closets to sell my apartment. But it’s a look I like anyway. I was so proud to have only coats in the coat closet.
My next great ambition in life: built-in bookcases.
Snark, that is one of the things I do, when I don’t have my Lois Lane hat on. I’m not a reupholsterer, but I can recover cushions, plus make throw pillows, etc.
Perhaps I should launch a home sewing/ soft furnishings column, too.
