Snappy…I think he’s working on that. Thx. Anybody that goes by the name davidinbedstuy has got to be a real loser anyway. Sounds like the name of a gay hair salon.
“Wow, Denton. So, did the letter from the buyer help sway you or were they simply the highest bidder? I think it would be nice to get a letter from a potential buyer.”
Snappy, it was one of those things that worked out all around. They weren’t the highest bidder but they were the highest with excellent finances, which was important since this was a coop. And they turned out to be wonderful people.
Mr. B., if you really want to cut down on sniping, etc. how about prohibiting and refusing to register screennames that are purposely intended to confuse other readers by impersonating someone else (a la davidinbedstuy). *That* is really lame.
“To date, Brownstoner has resisted being a shill for the industry which I commend.”
Really? I’ve always gotten the impression this was very much a pro-development site, although it has always rightly blasted the cutting corners, really ugly development. Hence the realtor/development ads…..can’t completely bite the hand that feeds you.

I suppose it’s very much an individual perception thing. It certainly doesn’t read like a random stream of gushing realtor prose if that’s what you mean.
Snappy, do you live near Greenwood Cemetery? Do you have a view of the trees from your Apt?
Can I put you on Cherry Tree blossom watch for the Cemetery?
Can you let me know when they’re in bloom, it should be in the next couple of weeks.
LOL Dave! I do need a haircut….
Yes, I see that now. More coffee please.
That makes sense, Denton, as a co-op board is more likely to be worried about the finances of the buyer.
