  1. am wondering if some of you saw my posts on the “Commenting Thread”
maybe if some of the actual readers of this blog got paid for their advice/services by having a weekly stint/guest spot – maybe that would enhance the overall experience
thoughts? or am I stepping on someone toes?

  2. quote:
Didn’t Rob mention that Curbed was having a meet up too – like next week?

i misread that on curbed. it wasnt for the users. it was a meetup at a condo that offered freebies or something and invited curbed members directly. so totally different,.

and seriously what a bunch of cockroaches in that other tread. (cockroaches are people who lurk online and then only come out of the woodwork once or twice to complain about other users who have no clue who they are)

    *rob*

  3. My belief is that there is not much going on, real estate wise, in Brooklyn lately. No(gasp)mega-million-dollar fixer-upper with four elderly rent control tennts sold yesterday in Clinton Hill. I don’t think a house has sold in Clinton Hill all year. So things are slow.
We need to talk about something. Cats, edible spreads, and dibs’ sex life seem like natural alternatives.

  4. “Today is Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s birthday”

Mr. B should have done a story on that. While he doesn’t have any buildings in Brooklyn, he does in Manhattan…Seagram Building. One of my favorite modern buildings in NYC. It is truly a beautiful building.
One of my other favorite modern buildings is Lever Building.

Mr. B, how about doing some ‘Farther Afield (from Brooklyn)’ features on this site.

  5. To any lurkers out there that are too intimidated to post then just jump in – the water’s lovely.

Just like in real life, if you go up to a stranger and insult them then you run the risk of a punch in the mouth. Say something nice or something interesting and you’ll make new friends – just like in real life!

  6. My “blog worthy” contribution for today:

Today is Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s birthday – famed German-American architect. I hope that was high-brow enough for the OT. I’m out. See you all later.
