“Everyone is supposed to turn off all of their lights, and preferably anything else (battery operated devices excluded) at 8:00 Saturday night for an hour to conserve energy globally.”
BUG JUICE
Of course
I went to camp blue bay in East Hampton every summer for about 5 years
it was a girlscout camp and I had the best years there!
the songs, the outdoor actitives, the friendships
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I’m pissed off at the new packaging for Chips Ahoy cookies. They used to be two long bags of cookies placed in a plastic tray. Now it’s just the cookies in the tray.
I bought some at the store the other day, just opened them and they’re all broken!
Did any of you ever go to Summer Camp?? I went to Camp Tekawitha on Lake Luzerne. We made this woven plastic things like necklaces. “Bug juice” in the mess hall.
There was hardly any crime during the blackout, ENY. These street criminals more riled up these days because they lost money with Madoff???
“We just went to the backyard!”
Same, parents would say “Front [meaning out front/street] or Back [meaning yard]? And then lock the door behind us! LOL!

This will create a MASSIVE criminal opportunity…
Never went to camp. We just went to the backyard!

No, my parents couldn’t ever afford it. Or maybe when I was in High School they maybe could have, but I was working during summers by that point.

Scintillating and hyper-intellectual of me—as ever! ; )
The Rutland Place? Yes, it looks very familiar, but I think it was a slightly different house.
