My ex got to the point where it was all “Time is money” to him- whether seeing friends, or watching tv or spending time with me and the family. That’s no way to have a relationship.
I don’t know the name- we were little kids and my father would go up to visit twice a year. I just remember it being a horrible, scary place- huge. But we would always wait at the picnic tables for him to come back. And the long car ride.
My uncle (not the 102 year old one), who was nearly comatose for over 40 years, and lived in a state institution upstate somewhere. Talk about hellholes- the mentally ill and the criminally insane, all in one facility. But they had nice picnic grounds so families could visit. Ugh.

What did I miss? ENY is paying for sex and benson doesn’t remember what it is? How did we come to such a state?
I’m expecting your gin report 🙂
My dad was in rehab at the nursing home at North Shore Hospital. They have many permanent residents. It’s a wonderful place.
rob- don’t think we can do tonight. We had stuff planned and the scheduling got knocked way back. We’ll try for another day.
Donatella, Lutheran Hosp. was very kind to my friend.
