Good point. I also like the creepy noises and the sand bucket. Although I have to admit that new boilers don’t have the same eerie frightfulness of the old Victorian style boilers. Do you let them cook on top of the boiler? I try to provide a small hot plate, myself. I have too much compassion. *sigh*
