  1. “Geithner Relies on Investors for $1 Trillion Plan”

Hi What! I was listening to a discussion about this on NPR this morning. Do you think it will help?

What and DIBS, tell me how this might work?

  2. I got some 800 thread count sheets at BB&B that are pretty nice.

“Nobody acknowledges receipt anymore.” I know, it’s a PILL.

I have never been unemployed for more than 3 months in my life…this is KILLING me.

  3. did anyone pass the adoption dog of love bus in PS this weekend? i stopped by with a friend and she was all ready to adopt sugar a pitbull mix (she was SO sweet!) but my friend got rejected. it’s like jeez, keep making it so difficult for people who want one of your smelly mutts. it’s such a disservice. oh well. oh yeah and they also wanted 90 bux to adopt a dog. good luck with that! it should be free, or at most 25 bux.

    *rob*

  4. Today is actually a slow day! We should be a lot higher in posts here by now! (I’ll take some of the blame, I was busy asking silly beginner-type questions in the “Losing My Deposit” thread!)

  5. After wadding thru 200 + post I see the retards are still asleep.

Geithner Relies on Investors for $1 Trillion Plan (Update5)

March 23 (Bloomberg) — The Obama administration unveiled its plan to remove toxic assets from the books of the nation’s banks, betting that it can revive the U.S. financial system without resorting to outright nationalization.

The greatest transfer of wealth in the history of the world is taking place right in front of us.

Barely two months after President Barack Obama took office, he and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner are staking much of the new administration’s economic credibility on the theory that removing the devalued loans and securities from banks’ balance sheets will help them start lending again and resuscitate the economy.

Well.. If they are wrong GOD helps us..

Now go back to talking about Cats, Dildos and Mayo..

    The What

Someday this war is gonna end..

  6. BRG, that is exactly why I go to C21. I have yet to see another place where I can get 600 TC sheets in queen size for $45. And the towels. Love it. Huge, thick bath towels in nice colors for $5 or $6 bucks a pop. And then there is the added bonus of not having to leave Brooklyn for it 🙂 I love a good bus ride to C21. It takes much longer than the train, but I love riding through Sunset Park.
