Most parents these days teach their kids to call backhoes “diggers”, which bugs the crap out of me, even though I do so reflexively now too.
I mentioned those three things to someone recently, and they didn’t know any of them. I was a little surprised. I just asked a trusted coworker and the coworker didn’t know them either. I was wondering if I was being too left-field.
