legion — we all need to fasten our seatbelts. 2012 will be one for the ages. Lots of anger now on both flanks, more money flooding in and buying ads than we’ve ever seen before, now that Supreme Court opened the floodgates. Every vote is pre-electoral theater now and see nothing lowering the temperature. All fought out on the 24-minute news cycle with internet pranksters behind every microhpne at town hall meetings. Dynamic on GOP side quite volatile — settle too quickly on consensus candidate and the bet could be wrong without sufficient testing; prolonged ideological primary fight could toughen winner up or damage him/her too much. It is going to be quite a ride.

No I am never embarrassed that I am black. I have been embrassed by the behavior of some black, just like I have been embarrassed by the behavior of some: women; Americans; Jamaicans; and various other group of which I am a member.
