The colors throughout my house here are a light yellow in the parlour, a light gray in the family room, sage in the kitchen, a grey-sage in the bedroom, a sea-foam green in the master bath, a rose coral in the other bath and a gray/blue in the second bedroom. Hallways are a deep beige.

Actually, I couldn’t agree more with The What on his thoughts re: Reagan. I’m disgusted his reign is looked back on so fondly by so many. He was a disgrace.
well, I would love to join you all for cocktails tonight except that most of you fall in one or more of the following catagories:
a)psychotic
b)sex addicts
c)babes lost in the woods
d)totally self-absorbed.

What…I have repeatedly said that Bed Stuy was “gentrified” by the people who have been the long-standing residents who were, incidentally, black.
You have to explain what aspects of your definition of “gentrification” you don’t like because, to most of us, it sounds like you don’t like anyone “non black” moving into any neighborhood that is predominantly black, whether its a nice place or a hell hole!!!! As long as its stays black that’s all that matters. Am I wrong???
If you take an oil painting class they tell you like 12 colors to buy – burnt sienna, umber, mars black, rose madder, china white. From there you can make your own palette.

I posted a long Harangue on Ronald Reagan and no one commented about that! The Iran-Contra Affair was grounds for Impeachment Benson unlike Mr. Sonny Carson was expressing his opinion like every other American citizen. Sonny Carson did not ignore the wishes of Congress and initiated a Covert Action and back funneled Drugs onto America streets! This is history benson, not something “The What” made up!

Let me explain something to everyone. I could say this statement: “I HATE WHITE PEOPLE” and guess what??? The war will be over. I can sell my Asshats targeting system on Ebay and sell my bunker and go home. But this is my issue “GENTRIFICATION”!!!!!
This is a very complex issue affecting all New Yorkers. Deep down in my heart I wish you City Hijacking dirtbags would go home. I wish all the Asshead developers go bankrupt and maybe you can stop destroying this great city. Maybe you can stop the Plutocratic Criminal Hijack machine on devaluing you currency!

While I really don’t like “purple” walls I love the brown that has that hint of purple. I’m not sure I’d call it eggplant. Would make for a very sexy bedding.

I am also anti purple, but I am against color mixing in general. That’s right orange, green, gray…. you are abominations of nature.
