There’s some guy out there on the radio talking about eating real food. He suggests not eating anything with more than 5 ingredients that you can spell/pronounce. He also said that he thought that people today have a lot of confusion about what constitutes real food.
And that there are so many health claims on packaged overly processed foods and so much of the food we see in supermarkets is just that, that that average person isn’t distinguishing. And it’s making people fat and unhealthy. I think he was also the person that I heard said to shop around the perimieter aisles of the supermarket, not as much in the center aisles. Which is interesting, to me, in itself.
I think he has a point. Wish I could remember his name, I liked what he had to say.
I used to drink soda all the time in high school and before. I stopped around college and now I can’t even touch it. I can still sort of drink Ginger Ale but anything like coke, pepsi and sprite tastes like pure sugar and after taking a sip I think I am about to barf. I used to LOVE those sodas and now I can’t even look at them.

You lose the taste for it, right? They taste like pure sugar to me, too. Can’t drink it.

Don’t look now but rob just made another nurse-esque comment in the charter thread.
slopefarm, mind your own business. this has nothing to do with you. if you want to mix it up, come directly to the source and stop dancing around.
Just saw a navy ship of some sort heading up the Hudson, escorted by a couple of tugs with water cannons.
Agree with Arkady and Scott on the artificial taste of soda in general. Fortunately, it doesn’t taste artificial when mixed with Jack or vodka.
OK, blowfish, time to choose. Associate’s salary at the OT’s premier firm, or contingency fee on m4l’s bogus claim?
