  1. bxgrl,
    I was picturing large saber tooth tiger teeth
    but small sharp cat teeth would probably work better because it would be a slower and more protracted death. ;o)

    Cgar,
    ha, I think there really is a Cocoa Beach (or Coco) just south of Cape Canaveral.
    I’m pretty sure I saw signs like that when I went to see that midnight space shuttle launch in 2009.
    That was really an awe inspiring sight!

  2. “Legion, did you find your genie in a bottle on Cocoa Beach, FL, where Major Nelson found his???”

    The genius of “I Dream of Jeanie” was that it worked on two levels. The kids could watch it for the comedy, which was standard 60’s sitcom family fare, while their fathers would also watch the show thinking to themselves “Oh man, I wish I was in that situation!”

  3. Speaking about computer viruses and all that malware and time wasting annoyances;

    If I found a Genie in a bottle and was granted three wishes, I think one of them would be for anyone involved in creating computer viruses (other than those used by our military) to be suddenly eaten by a gaping asshole-like chasm with teeth in their living room.

  4. Wired had a recent article about a new piece of malware for MacOS that is causing some people problems and the overall state of Mac vs PC security issues.

    The basic summary was that Macs are just as vulnerable to attacks as PCs, but the vast majority of attacks are still aimed at PCs because of their higher market share.

    Nothing really new, but a slightly interesting read.
