I think that Obama is either the false prophet or the anti-Christ, so that may help his chances.
If the Rapture is started by an apocalypse, how is it that anyone will survive to fight wars, enjoy famine and revel i pestilence? I mean- isn’t apocalypse kind of an all-encompassing thing? Or am I confusing it with Armageddon? So hard to keep these things straight.

Scott, my mom is a Jehovah’s Witness and they believe the 144,000 thing – apparently after Armageddon, 144,000 will live in heaven with Jehovah and others will live on earth in an eternal paradise.

Bxgirl, have no fear…we have a similar company whereby we save the pets from rapture by coating them with industrial strength glitter. Everyone knows that when the world ends, roaches and glitter will survive. If one is coated in the special glitter, they too shall live to see another day 🙂
I’m doing some internet research on the rapture, and there are a lot of different interpretations out there.
I did find out that during the rapture, only 144,000 people across the earth will be saved. I don’t think they need to be in Israel or any other specific place.
After the rapture, there will be a 7 year “Period of Daniel ” filled with wars, false prophets, and other bad shit going down.
This stuff reads like bad science fiction.
